Humus / Soil Biology Workshop

humus_eng_web

Learn about the universe that exists below our feet and how to create it. Soil is the foundation of any ecosystem whether natural or man made. A healthy soil enables us to ensure high crop yielding, protection from infections and parasites, ground water recharge, a significant reduction to watering volumes and at last but not least crops with high nutritional and taste value.
Together we will explore how soil is being created in nature and how to fast rack this procedure ourselves. Familiarizing with the functions of every soil organism and analyzing all the
soil improvement techniques that man has developed from antiquity to now, we will understand how we can become wealthier by turning waste considered materials to the black gold that is called humus. For additional information on this course please contact  workshop@ecoart.gr
